One unique aspect of Damaged Glamour Boutique is that a percentage of the stores profit is donated to Breast Cancer Research and the Suncoast Hospice Of Florida in honor of the owner’s mother, who passed away from cancer in May 2010. Redcat 7
Redcat 7 is a boutique created by Berlin-based designer Sammy the Scissors, consisting of burlesque, pin up, retro and rockabilly inspired looks that she has been creating for many years. Her passion for costumes and fashion were refined during her fashion design studies, and after that it was only a matter of time before she was inspired to start her own line, named Redcat 7, in 2004.

She created it as a way to interpret the femme fatale looks of the burlesque world, as well as the stylish fashion worn by women during the pre-war years, and once again during the 1950s when the pin up fashion began making a statement.

Lo and behold, the women’s section of Tarantula Clothing was born, eventually launching their “World Famous Capris” section into one of their best selling styles for women. Everything made at Tarantula Clothing is 100% original and hand crafted in downtown Los Angeles. They often use hard to find pieces of fabric and styles, so it is likely that a piece purchased by them is completely unique and will never be created again.
The ladies section consists mainly of dresses, skirts and tops that can be mixed and matched to create a retro and pin up style for the office, for a picnic in the park, or for going out at night. The fact that Danger Dame’s tagline is “dress with care…” should say quite a bit about the fashion sense displayed in the online boutique. Owned by Veronica Varlow, the inspiration for this boutique comes from the pulp fiction styles of the 1940s, Moulin Rouge vixens strutting through Paris, punk rock princess glam, as well as burlesque and cabaret classics.
Each piece of clothing and accessories is chosen by Veronica personally to ensure all of her shoppers are provided with high quality items that truly represent the retro eras she is so passionate about.
Browsing through the shop automatically creates a bit of a burlesque, “Old Paris” feel. The Lucy In Wonderland Dress gives the classic Alice dress a grown up, retro feel, while the Pulp Fiction Vixen Dress gives you the feel of a bombshell gangster from the 1940′s. All you’ll be missing is the gun holster in your thigh-high stockings.
