Rockabilly Clothing by TiCCi
Hungarian designer, Stefania Agoston, is a lover of Rock N’ Roll and the styles of the 1950s. The designers, musicians and starlets of that decade inspire her collections, helping her create an accurate depiction of that bubbly 1950s fashion while adding her own Rock N Roll twists.

Hence her Rockabilly collection for ladies was born into the world. Starting off as an Etsy shop, TiCCi has grown and developed into it’s own online clothing store, offering snazzy rockabilly, maternity and wedding apparel.
TiCCi offers limited edition dresses, designed specifically for the wearer. Stefania has a quaint boutique in Budapest, filled with already designed outfits for shoppers. Taking appointments, she also works one on one with customers providing custom made rockabilly garments and wedding dresses. TiCCi doesn’t just cater to women, she also spoils the men and children rotten with custom made edgy clothing from the playful decade.
For years now, TiCCi has been a bright light amidst the storm of modern day fashion, dishing out saucy pin-up outfit after another. Coated in leopard spots, skulls, and red, white and blue sailor stripes, TiCCi is one adorable bundle of retro clothing. Saying eternal vows in a TiCCi wedding dress is a ceremony one will not forget easily. These aren’t typical white and flowy gowns, TiCCi makes every dress a little slice of Rock N’ Roll heaven.
From a halter top sun dresses decorated in red cherries to a short white dress that shows miles of bare leg, one can imagine getting hitched amongst the bright lights of Vegas then riding off into the sunset in a vintage Cadillac. TiCCis Rockabilly maternity choices aren’t as spontaneous as the style of a shotgun wedding but are still fun. Checkered prints and cute sailor themed dresses make for one cozy and stylish nine months.
TiCCi may stand out for supplying rockabilly ladies with vintage outfits for their biggest moments in life but it doesn’t mean they exclude dresses for just everyday moments. Everything in TiCCis growing inventory is a ray of golden sunlight, beaming down on a chic leopard print jacket of a rockabilly princess.

Each piece is thoroughly described in detail in the online shop. The condition is clearly noted along with accurate measurements, so you can make sure you are receiving a vintage piece that is high quality, well maintained and incredibly fashionable.
Its base of business is in Boise, Idaho, although all of their clothes are designed, sewn and shipped from their Bali studio located in an orchid-filled tropical garden.
The brainchild of long-time Hollywood and celebrity seamstress and fashion designer Katherine Robinson, Whirling Turban’s fledgling roots began back in 2000 when Ms. Robinson found herself broke in Bali, with considerable experience and skills designing and fabricating custom clothing and the idea of selling vintage couture clothing online. She happened to own an original Alfred Shaheen, replicated it precisely and put it up for auction on Ebay.
Stunned by its rapid bidding war, she moved on to make and auction vintage reproductions of 1950s Hawaiian dresses. These proved so successful she expanded her business and moved to her own online shop specializing in 1940s and 1950s vintage pin up style dresses, skirts, and shrugs, and custom tea-length wedding dresses.Still living in Bali, Ms. Robinson and a few Balinese expert seamstresses handcraft everything they sell.
Whirling Turban offers each and every one of their customers a ” Movie Star Fit” by creating individual custom dress forms from their measurements to build each dress. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, each piece that Katherine Robinson sells is not only a painstakingly created work of art but a long-term fashion investment.
Whirling Turban has a huge selection of styles to choose from plus a wide variety of print, solid and brocade fabrics. Circle skirts, sarong skirts, waterfall skirts and Classic 1950s sheaths, plus pin up pants, shirts, shorts and combos, rockabilly peek-a-boo dresses and a classic interpretation of Frederick’s of Hollywood 1956 “Hawaiian Heaven” dress are just a sample of their items. They also offer “off the rack” wedding and bombshell dresses in standard sizes with minor alterations available.
Whirling Turban is a high-end shop yet their prices are very reasonable for unique couture clothing. Their ready-made boutique dresses range from to $150 to $1000, depending on the style, and their custom clothing starts at $255 and caps at $2000 per dress. Shipping runs from $25 to $30 in Asia and the Pacific, to $50 everywhere else.
